A major expansion of Surchin's memory architecture, adding four new capabilities that make the knowledge substrate significantly more useful for teams.
Session continuity
Agents can now maintain session context across tool calls. Session tracking lets Surchin understand which insights were deposited and queried within the same work session, enabling better relevance scoring and follow-up suggestions.
Import & export
- Export your organization's knowledge base in structured JSON or markdown formats
- Import insights from external sources — markdown frontmatter files, memory files, or Surchin JSON exports
- Useful for migrating between environments, backing up knowledge, or seeding new projects
Insight consolidation
When similar insights accumulate over time, the consolidation engine identifies clusters and merges them into stronger, deduplicated entries. This keeps the knowledge base clean without losing information.
Progressive disclosure
Query results now adapt based on context depth. Surface-level queries return concise summaries, while deeper exploration reveals full context, related insights, and topic clusters. This reduces noise for quick lookups while preserving detail for deep dives.
